From our base in Neuenburg am Rhein, we have been organising removals between Germany and Spain for over 30 years. Whether Barcelona, Marbella, Valencia, Mallorca or the Costa del Sol – our removal trucks run regular direct services to all Spanish destinations.
We are based in southern Baden, but we collect throughout Germany – whether Freiburg, Munich, Hamburg or Berlin. We pick up your belongings directly from your door and deliver them safely to your new home in Spain. Or the other way around. As a certified AMÖ specialist company, we insure every shipment and document its condition before departure.
Thanks to our own storage facilities in Neuenburg and Mallorca, we can respond flexibly to your scheduling needs. Part-loads are also no problem, keeping even smaller moves affordable.
Heading to Mallorca specifically? We have our own office on the island. We also cover moves within Germany – find out more. Need storage along the way? Storage is available at our Neuenburg depot.
Planning the return trip? Moving from Spain to Germany — we handle that too. Need your car transported? Our car transport Mallorca brings vehicles safely to the island or back. Just a few items? Shared load Mallorca is the affordable option.
Thinking about emigrating? Our guide to moving to Mallorca covers the essentials. What does it cost? Our Mallorca moving costs guide gives you a realistic overview.

Regular departures from Germany to the Iberian Peninsula. The mainland goes by road, Mallorca via Barcelona and ferry — we run both on a regular schedule.
Moving back? For return moves from Spain to Germany, we have a dedicated page with all the details.
Every region in Spain has its own rules — for registration, taxes and daily life. Here are the key differences:
High rents, long waits at authorities. Registration at the Ajuntament, administration in Catalan. Tip: Book your Empadronamiento appointment online.
Large German-speaking community around Málaga and Marbella. IBI tax (property tax) kicks in immediately. Air conditioning is rarely standard in rental flats — check in advance.
Alicante and Valencia are among the most popular destinations for Germans. Complete your Residencia and Padrón registration in the first week. Re-register your car within 30 days.
Higher salaries but also higher living costs than on the coast. The rental market is tight — those searching from abroad often need NIE proof even for viewings.
Our trucks travel via France directly to the Iberian Peninsula. No ferry transfer, no customs within the EU.
Without a ferry, it's faster and cheaper than to Mallorca. Pickup along the entire Spanish coast.

For moves to Mallorca, we have a dedicated page — with our own depot in Llucmajor, weekly trips and contacts on the island.
The route runs through France straight onto the Iberian Peninsula. No port, no reloading, no waiting in Barcelona. That saves one to two days compared to the detour via Mallorca for most destinations.
Our trucks roll down the coast from Girona to Cádiz. If you want a sofa picked up in Valencia or a partial load added in Málaga, we usually fit it onto a regular tour — no separate trip needed.
A full household to Marbella moves in one go: pickup Monday, delivery Wednesday or Thursday. Smaller volumes share the trailer with other mainland customers and end up costing roughly half as much.
Inventory list, transport insurance, CMR waybill. On request we also help with the first steps on the ground — NIE appointment, Padrón, and which documents the Ajuntament actually wants to see.
Our trucks don't go back empty. If someone near you is shipping household goods to Germany, or you want to send a few items back yourself, we can add it as a return load at a reduced rate.
The cost of moving from Germany to Spain depends on several factors. To help you plan, we have outlined the key influences on pricing.

Every move has different requirements. Here are the situations we see most often:
Own home on the Costa del Sol or Costa Blanca? We'll bring your household goods. What changes with health insurance and taxes is best discussed with an advisor on site.
Company move to Barcelona or Madrid — the employer often covers the costs. We prepare the documentation so billing runs smoothly.
The finca needs furniture? Individual pieces or a kitchen set-up travel as a shared load — cheaper than a dedicated truck.
Just a few boxes and a desk? A shared load is enough. Valencia, Barcelona and Málaga are the most popular destinations — we serve all three regularly.
Our removal trucks run regularly to all major regions on the Spanish mainland. For moves to Mallorca and the Balearic Islands, we have a dedicated page.
Marbella, Málaga, Estepona, Fuengirola, Nerja, Torremolinos
Alicante, Benidorm, Dénia, Javea, Torrevieja, Altea
Barcelona, Tarragona, Sitges, Girona, Costa Brava
Madrid, Toledo, Salamanca, Valladolid, Zaragoza
Seville, Granada, Córdoba, Cádiz, Huelva, Jerez
Valencia, Murcia, Castellón, Cartagena, Elche
For Mallorca and the Balearic Islands, we have a dedicated page with details about our on-site depot. Go to Mallorca page
Moving to Spain involves bureaucratic steps alongside the logistics. Here is an overview of what to expect – so you can focus on what matters most.
After arriving in Spain, you need to register at the local town hall (Empadronamiento) and apply for a foreigner identification number (NIE). Both documents are required for contracts, opening bank accounts and much more.
If you bring your car to Spain, you have 30 days to re-register it. This includes a technical inspection (ITV), Spanish insurance and registration with the traffic authority (DGT). Alternatively, we can transport your vehicle separately.
Spain has its own tax rules for residents. Health insurance, social security and the annual tax return (Renta) should be sorted out early. A local tax advisor is recommended.
The old town in Gòtic or Gràcia is out of reach for a 40-tonne truck. We bring a smaller truck right to the door and shuttle back to the main vehicle — we've done it hundreds of times.
In front of a finca in Marbella or an apartment in Fuengirola you usually need a zona reservada. We organise the permit with the Ayuntamiento in advance — otherwise the truck ends up a hundred metres away.
Once you've registered your address, you have 30 days to re-register the car. We'll point you to a gestor in the region who gets it done quickly and tell you what the ITV, Matrícula and taxes actually end up costing.
On the Costa del Sol, in Valencia and in Barcelona we know tradespeople, estate agents and tax advisors who speak German. If you'd rather not hammer every nail yourself on moving day, you get a contact list along with the quote.
